About Kath Interior Design

Kath's story begins on the serene shores of Lake Como, Italy, where she was born in 1977. Since childhood, her passion for art and color was the driving force behind her path. This foundation led her to the prestigious Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, where she initially studied set design before dedicating herself to painting and sculpture. She later refined her expertise with a degree in graphics, fashion, and design in Lake Como, solidifying a deep understanding of Italian artistry and technique.

 

The defining turning point in her career came in 2003, when she relocated from Lake Como to the cosmopolitan vibrancy of Ibiza. This island, a global trendsetter for minimalist and exotic style, became a unique laboratory where Kath embraced diverse cultures, styles, and nationalities. It was here she met architect Jaime Romano Colom, who remains a great friend and mentor, and connected with international artists who inspired a more authentic and profound approach to the world of design and art.

 

At its core, Kath’s work is the process of transforming a client's psychology into a living ambiance. Her primary endeavor is to understand the individual's inner world—their needs, passions, and desire for sanctuary—and translate it into the perfect scenography for their life. This approach is built on mutual respect and absolute privacy, which is essential for her discerning clientele, who often include high-profile sports figures and businessmen seeking a space where they can feel truly free and protected.

 

Every Kath Design project carries a strong Made in Italy imprint, blending sophisticated Italian craftsmanship with the spirit of the location. Her work spans iconic locations from Milan, Como, and Rome to Ibiza, with a vision that extends to future projects in South America.
